Silicone nameplates moulded for power tool housings, shown fitted on tool bodies

Lingvent Design moulds silicone nameplates and body markings for power tool housings, including programmes supplied for Einhell. A nameplate on a tool body has to survive heat, vibration, oil and sunlight while keeping the brand mark crisp, so we tool it from solid silicone rather than printing a sticker: the logo, technical data and safety symbols are compression-moulded as one piece, then backed with a high-strength adhesive selected for the housing material. Plates can follow curves and arcs, carry microtext and fine 3D relief, and are finished in mirror, matte or embossed surfaces.

Frequently asked questions

How much heat can a silicone tool nameplate take?

Our standard platinum-cured silicone compound holds from −40 °C to 230 °C in continuous use without deforming or cracking, which covers drill, grinder and saw housings as well as hotter welder and cutter bodies. If your tool runs hotter than that, tell us the working temperature and we will quote a compound to match.

Will the nameplate lift or fall off under vibration?

No. The flexible silicone absorbs impact instead of transmitting it, and the backing is a high-strength adhesive chosen for the housing material. Plates are tested on running tools for edge lifting and detachment before a production order is released.

Can you reproduce our logo in 3D with exact brand colours?

Yes. Moulds are cut on CNC machining centres with ±0.01 mm positioning accuracy, so 3D reliefs, gradient colour fills and microtext stay sharp with no blurring or glue overflow. Colours are matched to your Pantone references.

Can the plate follow a curved tool housing?

Yes. We tool the plate to the housing rather than forcing a flat sticker onto it, so curved and arc surfaces, and irregular shapes, can be matched. Send the housing drawing or a sample and we will model the fit.

What is the minimum order and lead time for custom nameplates?

100 pieces per design. Sampling takes 5–7 days and mass production 12–30 days depending on quantity and finish. Tooling is a one-off charge, the mould is dedicated to your design and repeat orders are not re-charged.
